Why would you continue to argue against a concept of global warming which doesn't represent
that of the general scientific community?

I see these sorts of threads posted quite a bit around here, but they're meant as jokes, right? right? Nobody in the United States in 2008 actually believes that the banal observation, "it's cold out today" negates the overwhelming scientific research regarding global climate change. do they?

Normally I wouldn't ask. I usually assume it's a joke, but this is like the tenth one of these threads. We're kinda beating a dead horse. Aren't we?

If you want I can dig up my Castro thread and keep pretending that his resignation was due to the triumph of American foreign policy.

Holy socks -- "global warming" strikes again! Pretty soon, all the crops are going to fail, civil authority is going to break down and we'll all be living in a failed society such as Somalia, Darfur or Detroit!

Holy smokes! Another person defeating a scientific straw man which has nothing to do with
the issue of the human contributions to global climate change!

What a shock!

It's the homicide capital of the United States. It used to be the richest city per capita in the country (back in the 1950s), but 40 years of Democratic policies have turned the former Arsenal for Democracy into a big ol' pile of urban blight.

That's about it... except, of course, for the thoughtless politicizing. Seriously, pick a word our man DSR can find a way to blame it on the democrats. It's fun... watch:

2 times in 100 years. So you're saying 98 times out of 100 there is no snow?

Jebus, that's pretty consistent if you ask me.

I have an Aunt that is 98 years old and smoked a pack of cigarettes every day since she was 21. I guess this is proof that smoking doesn't cause cancer?

Not in San Antonio. When the rain stopped in September 07 we have been in a drought.

Unless anyone can provide figures & sources that contradict the United Nations Environment Program then you must accept global warming as an empirical fact.
