Why was there a need to call the same witnesses that have already testified in the house? We have recordings of their testimony on record. Bolton wrote his allegation in a book and we have heard all about it in the news.

The issue here is not the Bidens; it's abuse of power by the president. There is no reason to subpoena the Bidens. They're not on trial, nor were they privy to the 'perfect' phone call. This trial is not about the Bidens, it's about Trump, the people in the room when he made the call, and the person to whom he made the call. Those are the people whose testimony is relevant. If the Bidens are to be subpoena'ed, then let it be at their trial.
Also, why are you not concerned with bidens proven corruption? ...the basis for the hold on aid
