@sonhouse saidI have a feeling the combination of going against the voting publics wishes and the amount of evidence that will no doubt come out before November, will make things pretty sticky for Trump and Co.
What a shocker. So we will have King Trump in a few days. Moscow Mitch, CHOKE ON YOUR VICTORY. See you in November.
@AverageJoe1
Oh you mean like yanking babies from the arms of moms at the border and now 8 kids dead from mishandling of border patrol agents?
Or the stupid wall that he felt compelled to steal 4 billion from our military budget to pay for it when he said " Mexico will pay for the wall"?
Or giving Stormy 130K to keep her quite just before the elections in 2016?
Or his first act as POTUS, VERY first thing he tried was to attempt to kill the ethics committee?
Or eviscerating the EPA and killing the science unit of the USDA?
Yep, REAL accomplishments.
Marco Rubio, Republican senator for Florida, said: "Just because actions meet a standard of impeachment does not mean it is in the best interest of the country to remove a President from office."
So, now the whole country knows where the Republican party stands. America, you have the chance in November to say whether you support that brand of politics.
@averagejoe1 saidDemocrats in the House gave him the soap.
I think the Mex-Canada deal came to him in the shower.
@sonhouse saidWhy was there a need to call the same witnesses that have already testified in the house? We have recordings of their testimony on record. Bolton wrote his allegation in a book and we have heard all about it in the news.

I wished there would be lots of witnesses that have not testified yet called to the stand. That didn't happen though. Who would you want to be called on as a witness in the trial? Would you have a problem with Joe and Hunter Biden being subpoenaed and questioned by republicans?
How open are you to witnesses in reality? Do you want them all to be questioned under oath or just republicans? Be honest.
@metal-brain saidThe issue here is not the Bidens; it's abuse of power by the president. There is no reason to subpoena the Bidens. They're not on trial, nor were they privy to the 'perfect' phone call. This trial is not about the Bidens, it's about Trump, the people in the room when he made the call, and the person to whom he made the call. Those are the people whose testimony is relevant. If the Bidens are to be subpoena'ed, then let it be at their trial.

Lets see the emails the WH is suppressing:

@sonhouse saidBut....but.....but...…...Marauder said that there was nothing different about this impeachment trial because they are all partisan, which means all impeachment trials are shams.
What a shocker. So we will have King Trump in a few days. Moscow Mitch, CHOKE ON YOUR VICTORY. See you in November.
So essentially the US impeachment system is just tossing out allegations to the public and keep taking polls to see if people believe they are guilty before they are even tried.
Isn't that right Marauder?
