To be a true socialist nation, is to be Venezuela, you have all kinds of natural resources and potential, but the corrupt and inefficient government makes you live in poverty as it runs industry.

has never said that. (I chalenge you to show where!)
He has described some of their policies as being more socialist
(ie liberal). Would you deny that?

If not... it's not socialism.
As for California... I haven't read Marauder's article... but something, something deep inside, imagines California isn't socialist either and that Marauder was probably talking a few aspects of Californian politics or something.
I mean, hell, it's not like anything you ever write is actually correct anyways.
