What I have never understood and will never understand is why people make a drink with carbon-dioxide, when it is that same gas that our body gets rid of! If it would be made of oxygen, well, that would be a lot better 😀

Cause its all fizzy and fun to drink .... just imagine how great it would be if humans could drink soda pop and (for lack of a better term) belch oxygen.

There would be no worrying about CO2 emissions and global warming. (smiles)

I was being sarcastic about the global warming part...

I looked at your Profile, by the way.

The 23rd Psalm is probably my favorite as well, although Psalm 99 is good too

I don't know of any chemical that degrades into oxygen and water the way carbonic acid degrades to CO2 and water. Do you?

Carbonated water was not originally consumed for pleasure, but as an early remedy for upset
stomachs. Anyway, drinking it doesn't make the CO2 enter your bloodstream. It just gets
burped or farted out. CO2 is a resultant waste product of our energy-processing cycle which is
passed back into the bloodstream, into the lungs and out when you exhale.

Then the plants suck it up, make it into food, and you eat it! Then you exhale some other guy's used farts!

True, Jews also read the Bible. Didnt mean any offense by that. It was my way of asking if he was a Christian. Are you Jewish or Christian?

Drinking pop damages your bones, makes them weaker, decreases the calcium in them, and makes you more prone to bone fractures. I know of a man who broke his back because he drank a lot of pop.

There may not be, I was just wondering. But the point is that CO2 is not good for our body in most cases, and it hurts the bones. I mean, why take in what our body gets rid of? thts kinda stupid
