Certainly wasn't the worst picture he could have posted either.
However, given he'd been asked not to I guess the results are not too surprising.
It seems necessary to set the record straight, even if I don't necessarily agree with all of STANG's views and methods.
All I could see was STANG's thread about 16 innocent Americans having been killed, with a link to a fresh news story about 16 innocent Afghans actually having been killed by coalition forces.
STANG went on to say something like "I bet there's Americans who are relieved to find that it was Afghans rather than Americans who were killed", with a link to the picture of the dead girl.
STANG completed his thread with an apology to Americans who weren't relieved.
His thread was abruptly deleted by the "moderators".
What a sad and frightening world we live in when even a chess site censors the truth. I think it's time we all woke up.
well done for summing up a situation that has a history going back over a year after being at the site for a whole 2 weeks - if that is how long you've been around.
STANG is a banned poster - he's not alowed to post in the forums due to repeated spamming in the past. His reappearance in the forums was due to an error & oversight which was reversed as soon as it was noticed. He wasn't particularly banned again for any specific post he made this time, but it was revealing to see that he instantly started posting the same repetative links and themes as he did before, conformation that he hasn't changed.

I believe that BelgianFreak is the "moderator" who is doing the censorship and he is lying that my last banning was accidently left to terminate (as indicated in the below copy of my correspondence with RHP management).
I'd greatly appreciate it if you could copy this message to the Stang? thread in the debates forum and encourage people to post their objections against BelgianFreak there.
I have been warned about spamming and ceased to do so. I have never been specifically warned about the picture, otherwise I would have ceased to reference it when I felt appropriate (e.g. recent deaths of 16 innocent Afghans).
It is therefore very unfair that I have been banned yet again.
