Interesting that you should refer to ItsYourTurn.com since its forum 'Looking for Opponents' is mainly devoted to a slanging match between posters of the shavixmir and stang variety since it does not have an effectual moderator.

Chess - The venerable standard.
Backgammon - The classic dice-and-race game. (NOTE: this version does NOT feature a doubling cube-- use "tournament backgammon" below to play with a doubling cube).
Jamble - ItsYourTurn.com's very own word game. Place the letters on the board to attain the highest score.
Battleboats - Better known as Battleship. Fire your guns at the enemy boats until you sink them all.
Checkers - The same version you know and love.
Reversi - Also commercially known as Othello™. The object is to flip your opponent's pieces by trapping them between two of your own.
