This will help you meander through 'the world today'.

The top .1% of taxpayers in CA pay 17% of the taxes. Now many of the .1% have left the state in expectation of the wealth tax. It is likely if the tax is passed that revenue from income taxes will decline as the payers will have left. It happens every time but the radical left NEVER LEARN ANUTHING. Pitiful.. NY is ...[text shortened]... sual. Try writing about epstein. All of you are such a joy, like listening to a Sara Brightman CD.
These stats are stupid because you bias the whole thing with looking at income levels in the first place, and then outputting income tax. Like the tallest people in the world also are really tall. Of course the people with the highest income pay the most income tax.

Those are not the people fleeing the state, they are there because they found a job that pays them a very large amount of money.

It really shows just how out of touch the trannies in the Democratic Party are that they keep losing to people with this level of intellect.

I could whip the Dems into shape but I'd offend a lot of people and I can't afford to do that.
Wild-grass was talking up blue states putting down red ones and you were trying back wg up.

The only thing I just did was prove the two of you absolutely wrong.

Try typing new residents by state 2026, people don’t leave because you are doing a great job.

Everyone....Pick WGrass, or pick AVJoe. One of us needs some relief.

Sir Anthony Hopkins chose to move here for a reason and he's still here.

You are just babbling.

You keep hiding behind AI as if that's going to help your position. You right wingers keep getting into trouble because of AI. Whether it's right wing lawyers, right wingers in politics, Elon Musk, etc...AI keeps screwing you all over.

Jiaoying Summers moved here to CA too. She has a comedy club not far from where I live.

Who are these "rich people" who are leaving and why should I care?

@AverageJoe1 said
OK, i'll banter. YOU want to know why they are leaving the states???
I don't want to know why, I want to know who.

I do feel good to learn something new. I had no idea you had afro-textured hair before this and you taught be about how the "natural" hairstyle works which I did not know.

But that was when you weren't running to AI for your posts.

LOL I'm tempted to use AI to whitesplain your hair to you but nah too much work. Besides you haven't made any personal comments despite being such a douchebag.

Lol you were trying to say that Texas was #2 GDP per capita when they're like 15th.

Nebraska is the only red state in the top 10 and that's because of warren buffett not politics.

Try harder.

Go read again what I said. You have no defense against what I actually proved to you both.

Do you not think there were sites to click with the exact same information. What kind of teacher are you that turns from facts and leans into ego and weakness.

"turns from facts and leans into ego and weakness."

Still looking at grabbing that "Irony Man" title, huh?

These are YOUR states. The states they are running away to, listed at the bottom, are MY states. I think that wraps this thread up , no need to respond, just being a bit informative.

States Losing High-Income Earners
California: The state with the highest personal income tax (13.3😵 has seen massive outflows, with over 307,000 net residents and billions in adjusted ...[text shortened]... ifornia continued their streak as the nation's biggest losers of residents and their wealth to ot...
There are many factors that play into this. First, however, I suggest examining which states are the "taker" states and which the "giver" states. A "taker" state is one which receives more federal tax dollars than it pays out, whereas a "giver" state suffers the reverse condition.

Look here:
https://www.axios.com/2025/02/12/states-money-federal-government
https://usafacts.org/articles/which-states-contribute-the-most-and-least-to-federal-revenue/

In 2024 the federal government took a whopping $276 billion more from California than it gave to the state. New York was taken for $76 billion, Illinois $63 billion, New Jersey $68 billion, Massachusetts $38 billion. Meanwhile, especially when adjusted to a per capita basis, you find the biggest parasite states are mostly (though not exclusively) red states. Little Alabama raked in $45 billion more than it gave!

One of the reasons the red states are such parasites can be traced to their very low taxes, which translates to a paucity of social support services, and so these states wind up with sizable populations of destitute individuals who require the help of federal welfare programs just to get by day to day. Basically California is helping to subsidize the low taxes and lousy minimum wage of hellholes like Alabama. Red states do not take care of their own, which is not fair, because through their negligence they enjoy "free stuff" from Uncle Sam.
