My pig had his jaw shot off by a shotgun, so I had to establish an airway by performing a crycothyroidotomy (slicing his middle-throat to open the thyroid cartilage to stick a tube into the airway). I was in "pig" heaven....too bad we couldn't barbecue them afterwards. Blood was flowing everywhere...it was great! I've since never looked at a pig the same way that I used to....strange.
