Decisions to approve (or pull) medications are based on accumulated scientific evidence and consider aspects of both safety and efficacy.
So if RFK jr advises Trump to kill using polio vaccines which we know is effective in nearly getting rid of polio entirely, Trump will just fall over and play dead and kill it by getting other similarly unqualified lower level dudes who WILL follow his orders thus ensuring a resurgence in polio in the US.
There is not much in the way of thinking things through for Trump on ANY subject like medicine, climate change, tariff wars or much of anything else, he goes with whatever whim takes over in him that day. That is his MO and always has been which is one reason he couldn't even keep a fuuking CASINO in the black.

Apropos anti-polio-vaccine militants:
Pakistan and Afghanistan are the only countries left in the world where cases of polio are still occuring, due to resistance to vaccination. There too, conspiracy theories are rife, but the irony is that those who resist vaccination there claim that vaccination is a western conspiracy to make people sterile. No one there is claiming that the vaccine makes people autistic.

Why stop there? Get rid of antibiotics as well. They cause antibiotic-resistant strains to develop which are even more lethal. Better to let turd immunity develop against the less lethal strains by getting rid of antibiotics altogether.
