@mike69 saidNot very Christian of him, this guy praying in the street. 😆
They haven’t had this problem to deal with in modern history, the first man in the video was arrested for his thoughts during his prayer to himself nothing outward.
Actually quite the hypocrite. But I guess he should be allowed.
Matthew 6:5-6
“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you."

@mike69 saidAn abortion which happened 22 years ago. 😆

I guess if he's been out there regularly for the last 22 years, he's at least a consistent hypocrite, according to Scripture.
He was praying in a so-called safe-zone. "The safe zone, introduced in October 2022, bans activity in favour or against abortion services, including protests, harassment and vigils."
"A public consultation by BCP Council found 75% of 2,241 residents supported the introduction of a buffer zone at the site which had previously been a focal point for people to gather and pray."
I guess he could move a few feet and his free speech would no longer be impinged. I wonder if he was harassing people or just praying silently? Harassment is not protected speech.

Everything’s a joke with you legend and the things you defend.
I don’t know the man or his pain, length of time praying there and neither do you? It doesn’t sound like he agreed with the choice and feels loss. It’s not in common to go to the place where death occurred to pray and no it’s not the same as going a few feet away if the case. I doubt he was praying out loud as it wasn’t mentioned and they made him say what he was praying internally so I guess thoughts do matter there also even if private.

Sounds like our bs polls here all the libs believes much.

Do any of you look at things from both directions, you do what you bit h about then pass crap like this, it’s amazing! I wonder why people are being arrested for speech and thoughts, could it be to stop the people from voicing opinions about things the government there is doing, what happened to bring this on since you know so much.
@spruce112358 saidThen why even ask and question him about it, did you watch it. The main thing you overlook here, not surprisingly, is the behind the scenes reasoning and agendas involved, just more liberal power grabs and controlling people.
I know it is metaphysically impossible to arrest someone for thoughts. 😆
Speech, yes. Harassment, also yes. 🙂
@mike69 saidSure, I watched it. 😆

Asking "What is the nature of your prayer?" would be a way to determine if it was harassment.
To be clear, I don't agree with the buffer zone or the restrictions on free speech UNLESS it is to prevent harassment.
@spruce112358 saidIt was more and internal either way, do you feel he was harassing, or the woke person like most, were over sensitive or triggered. Do you think this is liberal government overreach and their trying to control everything they don’t agree with or want.

@mike69 saidI always go back to why we have government at all, which is to protect all our rights equally. 🙂

Right to free speech. Right to associate, e.g. listening to that speech; or, not to associate.
