I'm speculating that he has something to hide. His refusal to divulge his taxes is highly suspicious. He's weaving and dodging and delaying. He should have divulged them during the 2016 campaign. His excuses are wearing thin. It's high time the electorate found out to whom he is beholden.

Believe me, I am not defending him. If the law says he should’ve all his taxes, or he was in a position which made him an exception to privacy, then he should divulge his taxes. If he has committed a crime, he needs to go to jail. I do not want him to run for president, so I will not be much fun on the forum. I probably think just like you Fellers do. I do hope you fellas will give DeSantis a chance. I will start a thread about what is wrong with him. I will be curious.

The highest court in the land has the final say; Congress is entitled to see his tax returns, the IRS is obligated to release them. Trump’s stalling is over.

Trump has already vastly overshadowed Nixon. And no other president since, except Trump, has come close.

If democracy shuts down in America, the whole world will experience a geo-political earthquake !!

When presidents, past and present, say that America is the shining light on the hill, or the greatest nation on Earth, it is not because it is a capitalist system, or the most powerful country.
And certainly not because God deemed it so.

It is because it is a the shining light for democracy.
And not necessarily because they may have the best political system, or voting system.
It is because other countries look to America when they search for democratic ideals.

That is why Jan 6 is important.
Not just to America, but to the world.

That is why it is important to support the Ukraine.
Remember, Putin is not at war with the Ukraine.
He is at war with NATO. And it was to his advantage to have someone in the White House who talked about the US leaving NATO.

And btw, Russia did mess with the US elections. And the Brexit referendum.

Stop talking about Trump being harmless internationally.

Suppose a neighbor several houses down the street accidentally ran over my dog.
And the whole neighborhood is upset. And many of them have rocks in their pocket.
And I tell them it might be a good idea to go stand in front of that neighbor's house and protest against his carelessness.
And rocks fly through his living room window.

Now, a good lawyer will keep me out of trouble with the law.
But everybody knows what I did.

Here is what I deemed it to be a few months ago,, and now I am disinterested. So, Gowdy asked for cross examination and Trump was not being allowed same. Not a trial, don't you know..... It is, or was, an inquisition.
