style over substance

Lord Coe has built a very stylish aquatic centre , the trouble is , is that anyone in the cheap seats can't see very much , is it not about time we stopped indulging the vanity of people like Coe ,the dignitaries , and the bloody architect, and worried about Joe Boggs being able to watch the event. A big rectangular box would have done the job ,cheaper to build and more seats. Anyone see the empty bigwig and corporate seats in the morning sessions , plenty of people including me would have loved to go, no chance.

It's about Legacy, or is it Sustainibility 😉, anyway after the Olympics the dignitaries will crawl back under their rocks and Me, You, n Joe can have the good seats.

Biggest steam maker for me at the moment is the seats given to corporations and committee members that are sitting empty for even high profile events.
