Debates

The world is a global village. We're not all insular and isolationist here. And very few of us have convict ancestors.
You have no clue, only biased propaganda upon which to judge.

Why is anything that doesn't agree with YOU and your twisted way of thinking always "biased propaganda"?

Something neither the left nor right in America seems to understand:
"Equality of opportunity" does NOT equal "equality of outcome".
It's like both teams insist on having it their own way and opposing views cannot possibly be considered with a view to consensus.
I grieve for Americans.
Try living here, where half the population is like this.

If you weren't so keen to keep your former slaves down, your society would be like ours. We have just as many non-whites as you do, we just treat them better. Those who have been treated badly in the past, such as our indigenous folk, now have affirmative action programs to help them take their rightful place in our society. When you lift up the folk at the bottom, the whol ...[text shortened]... olk left at the bottom are those who choose not to participate in our society in any meaningful way.
That's it, I'm moving to Australia.

You assume it is racism keep black people down, but this is not the case.

If you look at test scores which are scored without knowing the person's race, you will see that the scores reflect low success.

Perhaps you should make comments based on what you have actually seen first-hand, instead of repeating something you cannot varify.

Chances are many of your poor are groom slave riots, but they are white so it is not possible to see.
First, the racist says it's not racism keeping black people down, and then the racist talks about how the black people are just inferior.

Yeah, you are one disgusting white dude. Problem is, most of them are.

Nobody is keeping black people down, except for maybe black people.

Thanks for participating..... Could you rephrase just a tad, 'the diff between 1st and 2nd is (only) 1%', .....but then you are saying the diff in the prizes is 80,000 percent.??

It makes sense if you’ve e got a sense of humour and follow the thread, I stopped trying to have a grown up conversation with Joe a long time ago.
It was sinister joes idea to buy the kids mom a car 🚗
I said that to point out that if someone gives a car to someone, that would fly directly into the face of a Marxist. I am simply asking Marxists how they would deal with this 'inequity'. This is a serious question, worth debating, to point out the fallacy of Kamala's ridiculous premise. More fun to banter about than is Tump's offensive personality, which we all get.

OK. 5 kids all live in an apartment building, each with single mom. All receive same welfare checks each month, no other source of income except entitlements.
Whew. OK, the mothers each put one-cent in a cup, and tell the boys to race, and the winner gets the 5 Cents.

Is this scenario fair, does the winner get all the money? You can do this, Kev. If this is ...[text shortened]... rain around, let us assume they all run barefoot. Whew. I cannot IMAGINE thinking like a liberal.
Duh yeah of course the winner gets the 5 cents if that’s what’s been agreed. What’s your point, maybe the kids should be made to carry a strawman on their backs during the race to test for endurance.

Why would someone gifting a car to someone else be anti Marxist and who are these Marxists anyway.
Apparently the Russian Marxists were always giving cars to people so maybe not a good analogy Joe.

Certainly not white people, who bought them and sold them for centuries, and then decided they were not equal to a white person, and to this day continue to hold back the black people by social injustice they created for just that purpose.

But oh, no, it's not the white people keeping black people down, it's the black people themselves.

Another Eladar opinion so far off the rails, it would be laughable, you know, if only it wasn't.

If you think that the winner (the one who prevails in a certain scenario) should receive the 5cents for besting another person........................

How does that square with the liberal views (generally speaking) of equality? Like, when Obama said his famous "I'll spread the wealth around"? And how does it square with Kamala saying 'Everyone should get the same amount'. If you think that the child should get and keep the 5cents, then how can you also believe in these liberal doctrines? This is what debates in our world should be about.

Edit: Thankyou for responding, this does not seem to be a popular subject. I always post the WORST subjects, it seems.

Exactly which white person alive today in the US has bought a black slave?
