Switzerland has narrowly voted in favour of banning face coverings in public, including the burka or niqab worn by Muslim women.

So, does this include corona related face masks?
So, you can’t wear a burka (well... that’s a bummer... I guess...), but what about sunglasses and a corona face mask?
The Swiss hardly ever fail to disappoint, and once again they succeed with dubious lawmaking.
Not a good sign for the usefulness of referenda, if you ask me!

Muslim women in France open a business selling modest, one-piece bathing suits.
The French *banned* the one-piece bathing suit, you must wear a bikini.

On most French beaches you can go topless if you want. There’s plenty of nude resorts.
And you can wear a bathing suit.
AND ALL THIS BEING SAID... France didn’t ban the burkini.
Some French towns banned it for varying reasons. That is all.
And it’s a hell of a stink.
I think it should be banned. And the only reason I want it banned is because it’s a stupid piece of FFing clothing. Totally ridiculous.
And just to be the little clothes nazi I am: I’d ban trousers with low hanging crotches and strapless bras as well.
And everyone should wear capes.
