As some of you probably know, Republican state Senator Sylvia Allen from Arizona has been video taped saying that her state needs to mine for uranium. Then as evidence for this need she states that the earth is only 6000 years old? She says this several times, in fact.

Of course, she is now the laughing stock of liberals across the nation. In fact, she makes Sarah Palin look like Albert Einstien. So I ask you, is it no wonder that our country is in the state it is in currently? You could even throw Al Gore in the mix with his global warming theories. Granted, at least Al has some scientific backing, even though Obama is now surpressing scientific evidence that flies in the face in regards for the need of his pet cap and trade program.

God help us all!!

It looked like she was going out of her way to prove she is christian. It is a common belief that humans have been here 6000 years or so based on the lineage to jesus then adding 2009. She kinda flubbed up a bit as even with that belief, the bible says earth was created first. She may have also just been under the influence of vicodin or Nyquill or something.

That may be, but it was not just the fact that she said the earth was only 6000 years old, rather, it was the way she said it. Just look her up on youtube to see my point. She was not even making sense. At least Al Gore and company can complete sentences and use science to back up their agenda's. It's almost as if the democrats put her there or even payed her off to embarass both Christians and those who think that Arizona should mine uranium.

You are right about that. If she was that out of it, someone would have stepped in to stop her. Weird thing was, someone I think did say something and she just went on. I'm sure her constituents are mighty proud no matter what it was.

Last I heard, this claim about Obama suppressing evidence on global warming was unsubstantiated. However, Bush and Cheney -did- suppress scientific evidence establishing AGW.
