The Syrian nuclear site destroyed by Israel last September is under reconstruction.
The IAEA is aware of the situation, but have done nothing about it.
It is absolutely necessary that countries like Syria and Iran do not get nuclear weapons. What should be done about this?

And now the Syrians have the cheek to rebuild the site.
Are you saying they should have left it as rubble?
Originally posted by RedmikeYes, Israel is absolutely right to bomb the nuclear sites of neighbours whom they know hate them and want to see them dead.

The Syrians should not be building nukes.
Were it not for Israel taking similar action in the 1980s then Saddam Hussein would also have had a nuke, that would be nice, wouldn't it?

Originally posted by Sam The ShamThey're not. They won't be builing another nuke site there. This serves two purposes. One, they get the media exposure of having to rebuild after the Israelis attacked them out of nowhere. And two, if there was enough nuke material there to cause a contamination problem, they need to get rid of any contaminated soil, pronto. Builing at that site gives them a reason to be moving tons of dirt around the site without it looking like they are removing contaminated soil. Doing something as obvious as moving trucklaods of dirt in and out without building anything would hamper any Syrian claims of it not being a nuke site.
Didn't know the Syrians were that stupid. Israel's just gonna blow it up again. Durrrhhhhhhhhhh.
