I guess this a standard procedure for any plea deal for any crime / criminal but the MAGA crowd here will claim this ‘patriot’ is being railroaded by the deep liberal state.

All a witness would have to do is tell the truth.
Since you (and every Trump supporter) have no idea what that is, it involved facts and reality, something Trump tries to bend and deny at every opportunity. He thinks this inflates his "machismo". He knows he can harvest millions from his supporters for this. which happens to be another crime. The entire Trump Crime Family is "Fraud R Us".
And they'd need a preponderance of witnesses to finally overcome your and their resistance to the truth.
