Public criticism of Islam is much rarer than that for Christianity because of the violent culture associated with it; see Charlie Hedbo.

I dislike the IDEA of Islam but I also dislike the IDEA of Christianity, I have always said I want freedom FROM religion not freedom OF religion.
I know most humans require some kind of stupid religion or other to survive their daily tribulations but I hope people can get on with their lives not having to refer to whatever words are written down in these man made religions saying stuff like a woman is worth 30 shekels but a man 50. Being on Planet Earth, having to put up with people coming to the door asking me if I am saved, it happened once in a hotel where the proprietor asked me that, and 'we have a revival at 3 this afternoon'🙂
I don't like living on a planet where women are supposed to be barefoot and pregnant which means half the brainpower of humans are siphoned off leaving only men to do brain work like engineering and science which women can do just as well but male dominated societies like those asssholes in Afghanistan won't even let women who already have degrees like MD's to forced to not be able to contribute in that way. Obviously it isn't quite that bad in the western countries but here in the US they are well on their way with this fuuking Christian Nationalists who want to Iranisize the US and I would not be surprised if Trump wins again and Project 2025 comes about they would stop women voting.
All of that if Trump is elected by those asssholes won't go away if he is defeated, he will just claim "rigged election' and have his goons who are already serving on electoral count boards at county level try to gum up the works, either way we are in deep doo doo come November. I think they won't try the fake elector scheme that blew up in their faces this time but they are working diligently to fill county vote counters with election deniers.
But the religious right is attempting to overthrow the US government and kill democracy, all in the name of a man made god.
And living on a planet where it seems to be just fine for one man made religion to kill people of another man made religion, in the name of GOD. Right. What could POSSIBLY go wrong?
