There's plenty of evidence to show this conflict was not initiated by the teacher. It could have happened by design (a prank) or due to a series of unfortunate coincidences.
It could have happened either way, unless you have a third scenario you would like to share.

If you think it can't happen that way I'm here to tell you it can. I've been to a few investigation meetings, and have seen first hand how "covering our butts" is the highest priority.
