Well they did it again and I can just picture Stang now crapping in his pants and blaming Bush and the US while he is under the bed typing up some horsecrap thread on the subject.

Why do you think they do it. Can you go into detail. What are their backgrounds. What are their standards of living. Have they been marginalised. Have they been exploited. Have others meddled in their affairs. Do others set a good example or do they promote or at least incite violence. Do others offer negotiation or do they act with greed and corrupt intentions. Do you truly care about the innocent dead of Iraq as much as you do about the innocent dead elsewhere. Please detail.

It wasn't Bush who was the victor of "La Reconquista" and it wasn't Bush who stopped the Moors from conquering and ransacking Vienna ..... I think.

So in your mind the deaths in Bali are not important?
That would be because it is something you can't pin on Bush.
The new Stangmatism:
Any death not caused by Bush or the American government is hereby
declared unimportant, only little people who didn't even know they
had a live anyway, so whats the big deal.

Dangerous line of argument, Stang. Especially since you are addressing a forum that is wary (or just weary) of your content.

Can you define a point at which an individual is so oppressed and marginalized and politically frustrated that they are morally justified in mass homicide?

I suggest a wee peek into the history of Indonesia, the dealings of the multi-nationals there and the sweat shops for kiddies.

Obviously I find the killings disagreeable, but I do understand where they're coming from.

Your kids are working 16 hour shifts to support you and the rest of the family and fat and rich Westerners are coming over and paying 15 year olds a week's salary to rape them (underage sex IS rape), living in better accomodation than you are your kids will ever know and spend more in one week than you can spend in a year.

Oh. I see where the frustration, anger and hatred comes from...

Horrible. Appalling. We can certainly understand how these circumstances give vent to rage, desperation, and hatred.

That was not my question. My question is: does this justify mass homicide?

I wonder how you would react if Bush or his mate Rumsfeld made a similar comment on deliberately targetting and murdering innocent human beings in, let's say, Libanon.
