@athousandyoung saidRight behind Florida. This is news?https://www.texasmonthly.com/news-politics/texas-personal-freedom-cato/
Texas Ranks Last in Personal Freedoms, According to the Libertarian CATO Institute
Edit: After looking at the maps, Florida is much higher on the list, as is my state of Arizona. This list puts some things down as 'freedoms' that I'd really rather not have. Like 'educational freedom' counted as the ability to send your kids to whatever school you want, including religious schools and crappy corporate schools. And 'tobacco freedom'? Are you kidding me? How about stuff like 'freedom to determine what happens to your own body'?
Bah. Any list that puts Arizona number 2 is a crock.

@shavixmir saidWell, you gotta make a distinction.
Everyone hates libertarians.
Are they real Libertarians, concerned with actual freedom, or are they "Libertarians" (like in the US) who say they believe in freedom, but act just like Republicans?
I notice this list contains "freedoms" like campaign contribution freedoms, or the freedom for people with a boatload of money to give as much of it away to real horrible people as they can. "Campaign contribution freedom" should be relabeled as "corruption freedom". I saw Mr. Smith Goes to Washington.
