Er...

wha???

That's not even grammatical, let alone sensible enough to be stupid.

All you need to understand is that if the Republicans get their way and there is an Article V Convention to re-write the Constitution, the US Constitution, as we know it, is done. It won't be worth the paper it's printed on. It will fundamentally change from a tool of Democracy, to a tool of Fascism.

An Article V convention can only propose amendments; they'd still have to be ratified by 3/4 of the State legislatures or State conventions. The crackpot ideas being tossed around in the Article V movement have essentially zero chance of ever polluting the Constitution.

it is the liberals trying to change the constitution dumbass! read the article!

Democrats have lost power with no hope of gaining it back for decades. Trump has placed hundreds of fed judges and appointed two SCOTUS’s. Ginsburg will make the third.

Indeed, crackpot ideas like a balanced budget amendment and term limits for career politicians.

Crazy stuff about 80% of Americans agree with.

We all crazy folk.

How are you suppose to have free everything with a balanced budget amendment? It would be a death blow to Progressivism.

It would be a death blow to the US economy to have no way for the government to set fiscal policy appropriate to economic conditions in the country.

No one is stopping the Trump administration from presenting a balanced budget. No one was stopping the Republican House from doing so from 2011-18. No one is stopping Moscow Mitch and his cronies from doing so now.

Almost every idea from Progressives like Bernie Sanders comes with proposals to fully fund them, so your claims are typical right wing BS.

Almost all of the Article V talk for the past 10+ years has been from Republicans.

Dumbass.

Democrats don't have a chance of doing it, even if they wanted, since most state governors are Republicans.

Whodey's been saying it here for years now that it's the Republicans' only hope.

You too, fool.

Balanced budget amendments and term limits have always been liberal ideas.

"Crazy stuff about 80% of Americans agree with."

It's about time you said something here other than your more usual BS.

Hardly. Both are undemocratic ideas and the Left has traditionally supported mass democracy while the Right has always favored measures that reduce or even eliminate democratic features of a political system (the term Right and Left come from the seating in the post-revolution French Parliament; the monarchists were on the right; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Right-wing_politics).
