careful, you are showing ignorance on this. Routers such as these used to conduct conduct official govt business have much more memory and hard drive space for storage. The county recorder is required by law to store such info. The duration is defined by each state.
Giving a private firm access to govt routers is itself a severe security risk.
AZ election officials have already confirmed that voting machines were not connected to the Internet. Case closed.

One more news item: Republicans’ insistence on examining voting machines has itself compromised the integrity of those very machines. The software on those machines has been made public as a result of Republican investigations, so hackers now have a much easier job of developing intrusive exploits.
“Show us the voting machines. Show us the routers.” It’s like a Greek tragedy: the attempt to avert the prophesied disaster is what actually triggers it.

The software should have remained proprietary; same goes for the encryption algorithms Cisco, Signal, WhatsApp, Apple, and Microsoft use for their messaging services: they should remain proprietary. Given that the govt (other than the military) does not have the resources to develop its own secure systems, it is a public policy decision to use one or another privately developed system. You cannot reasonably expect the manufacturer not to have access to its own systems, if only for troubleshooting and maintenance purposes.

Trump even said so on election night.
He was pissed off because the networks wouldn't declare him a winner.
It got worse when FOX declared Biden in Arizona. Oh the bittersweet irony !!
