The biggest and simplest thing to change the world (I took the liberty of changing the title here), in my opinion, would be:
"I believe the children are the future,
teach them well and let them lead the way,
Show them all the beauty they posess insiiiiiiiide..."
No, seriously. Have muslim, christian, jew, atheist, brown, yellow, white, red, fat, thin, handicapped and mentally ill people's children grow up together, in the same schools. Force their parents not to instill any racist thoughts into their children's heads during the vulnerable years, and the world will be great! Great, I tell ya'!

It would be interesting to see if no murderous children came out of a system where everyone was treated "right". I would hope you were right. But I have my doubts.
