Ah yes, the trail does seem to come back to Eric Holder.... should he resign?
We can have a debate on whether we should have hit Alwaki with a missle, what about a directive to sell enemy combatants weapons that actually killed a US border guard? Who is responsible for that plan that went terribly wrong?

Yes, but don't hold your breath. Janet Reno ought to have been held responsible for the Waco debacle.

Eighty Branch Davidians perished, not to mention the BATF agents who were sent on a fool's errand.

There'll be a bit of posturing from Republicans, but the campaign issue is going to be jobs, not botched police actions.

What is this with you? I'm sorry you seem to be nursing some grudge because I disagree with you on certain positions. Get over it.

I haven't followed this story much and can't get worked up over it for a simple reason: I think that ANY government attempts to stop drug use is a waste of societal resources. So getting hot and bothered over one particularly botched plan when the entire policy is foolish is a waste of my time.

Does that mean gun shops should be liable for murders using guns they sold?

Gun shops are a little different then a government agency who's mission is:

We are ATF.

A unique law enforcement agency in the United States Department of Justice that protects our communities from violent criminals, criminal organizations, the illegal use and trafficking of firearms, the illegal use and storage of explosives, acts of arson and bombings, acts of terrorism, and the illegal diversion of alcohol and tobacco products. We partner with communities, industries, law enforcement, and public safety agencies to safeguard the public we serve through information sharing, training, research, and use of technology.

I pasted that from their web site. http://www.atf.gov/about/mission/

Yup, in this case an illegal, with a gun "given" to him by Eric Holder in a round about fashion....

oh, so it dosn't matter that a REAL american was killed, as opposed to a traitor killed by a drone???
Not nursing a grudge at all, just presenting a fact...... this kid was killed in the USA defending our country.
He was not some fanatical terrorist training kids to kill americans....
A huge difference,, YA THINK?

Is it your assertion that this particular gang member wouldn't have had a gun but for Eric Holder? The argument used is normally that criminals will obtain guns no matter what policies the government pursues.
