This line from John Grisham's movie The Rainmaker sums up the mentality of today's Trump supporter. Like the old lady who wanted to give the bulk of her estate to a sleazy televangelist, who's only aim was to enrich himself, today's Trump supporters are generally honest, hard working folks with good intentions, they've been led to believe this well dressed man in the White House, who's total church attendance in the last 30+ years can be counted on one hand, is genuinely a man of God, who's sole aim is to make America a fine strong nation full of hard working Americans with wholesome Christian values and goodwill towards all. This is why you can't debate with them. The flock will always be loyal, they'll turn a blind eye to his womanizing, multitude of shady business practices, fawning adoration of brutal murderous dictators, attacks on the most vulnerable of our society, and vindictive backstabbing of anyone who does not show absolute loyalty. This is why the flock will always "pivot" and complain about the shortcomings of Liberals at the first hint of disloyalty to their "chosen one" Want a small example? What would Trump's flock say today if a junior Senator named Obama had walked onto a convention stage with 5 of his children by 3 different women? It wouldn't be very nice, would it? Let their chosen one do the same thing in 2016, and not a whisper is heard. This is one reason why I don't post as much here as I used to. It really is a waste of time trying to reason with these folks. The flock will always be loyal-
