When Earl used the word, did he claim it was a word in standard usage according to modern dictionaries?

Lunatical is a quaint archaic word for insane, eccentric, crazy. I rather like it.

Edit: Merriam-Webster gives the definition of lunatically as:
: in a lunatic manner

Why does a spelling error need to be excused or robustly challenged? Why was it necessary to post:

"Earl of Trumps keeps showing his near illiteracy in English. 'Lunatical' is NOT a word in modern English usage."

You are not beyond spelling errors yourself. Does that render you nearly illiterate?

I love archaic words. We should bring them back.

Whether by accident or design, he used a perfectly acceptable archaic word.

Again, why the gusto in pointing it out? Are you beyond spelling mistakes? Shall I go find some as an excuse to call you illiterate?

Note how Duchess avoids these questions:

Are you beyond spelling mistakes? Shall I go find some as an excuse to call you illiterate?

Suzie, when liberals offer two answers that conflict with one another, that is a measure of hypocrisy.

In my libertarian/freedomist world, the school can do whatever they wish. There is your answer.
But my answer to your question is hardly the point I wish to make.

remember, Suzie, the right of your fist ends at the right of my chin.
a trans female person may ...[text shortened]... identity".
The want the law fully enforced with one gender, and **ignored** in another.

You see?
No, they don't.

Would you care to explain how one group's rights are being "stomped on"? All I see here is you claiming that giving everyone the same rights is somehow "stomping on" someone's rights and you using this as some reason to not give one group the same rights the other group gets.

Suzie, do you acknowledge that all sports teams in American high school, college, and pro are gender specific?

We routinely discriminate by gender identity on these teams,, males over here, females over there.
Can you agree with just this much? If you do, then certainly you can see the hypocrisy to saying
that discriminating against a trans female on a female sports team is illegal, as it is discrimination by gender identity.

These politically correct morons have our children so confused with these exotic, contradictory rules, it is ridiculous.

I'm sure the Princess would have some harsh words for James Lee

who the heck is looking to be "standard?" or orthodox

Why don't you ask me instead of Duke? I'm the one that typed it.

And yes, it is NOT an error, typing or otherwise. I like the word. So I use it. Got it?
