Better for whom? He was a divisive president.

It's almost irrelevant. In Iran, the President (as of now, anyway) is little more than a figurehead. The real power is in the Ayatollah.

The new President seems every bit as much of a Khamenei stooge as the dearly departed Raisi was (and really, it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy).

Until they overthrow the Ayatollah, or at least limit is influence on the Presidency, the death of the President is almost irrelevant.
