How so?

The fact she was made out to be a hero when she wasn't -and knew nothing about the fiction?

Or that she stood up and exposed the lies that were made up about her?

At the point that the US installed a protocol whereby all coverage of the war had to be filtered through their media centre, which most commentators saw as an information coup on the part of the USAF to avoid a rerun of Vietnam body bags, it seems with the way that information is controlled on the war, that we have a 'Wag the Dog' scenario on our hands, where it might even quite conceivably be that the actual war in Iraq could almost be non existent.

I communicate with Americans in Iraq on an almost daily basis. I assure you, the war in Iraq does indeed exist at a higher intensity than almost non existent.

But you would have to recognize that from an Orwellian perspective, if every aspect of the theater of war were controlled, considering how dependent modern warfare is on intel, although fighting at its worst would be horrific, the scale of it on an absolute scale is still largely a function of what we are allowed to be told on the subject by the war's minders, so other than possibly specifically constructed zones that are managed for as much the troops benefit as anything elses, the war as a real engagement could actually be a fantasy only made real by our belief that it exists.

Its like the reality show big brother. The producers take multiple camera 24/7 footage and cut together a 'show' that has very little to do with any reality experienced by people who actually take part on the set of that show. It was just a thought.

Its a great thought for contemplating on a college campus, but in the non-Orwellian, non-reality TV world that is the real life, its an actual war with like thousands of dead people and everything.

I do understand that it would be possible in theory, but there aint no way to get that many people in on the hoax. Ima thinks that may-b won uv thems eye-rack-ees wud sez sumthin by now on.

Ima nevr met me no orwellian be4? So may-b itn happnin. Now thatn I think bout it, I aint nevr seen no orwell and dick chain-ee to-gethr eethr, so cud b same guys. Like thems mite b tha same dudes in an alterd state of cous-cous kinda way.

Are you talking about standing up and exposing the lies after she was given the Bronze Star for valor. As I said before. Horsecrap.

She didn't give back her Bronze Star though did she? Got a medal and didn't even fire a shot. Got her book deal and was proclaimed a Valkrie for her fighting ability LMAO but the other female soldier didn't get anything like that and she was captured also. Go ahead and make more excuses for her.🙄

I never made her out to be a hero. That's the horse manure press that did that. It's the pussyfication of the American male that's being done to males here in the US. They made her out to be a warrior when it was someone else who did the fighting (male soldier) that killed those Iraqi's. The PC world run amok thats what it is. No she didn't give her Bronze Star back. For all I know she probably has a personalized license plate on her car signifying her winning that award.

I'd blame the pentagon and centcom (or whatever the hell you call it) before blaming the press.
