Some women are effective in the military but not in an infantry unit and definately not Jessica Lynch. Burst my bubble? 20 years in Infantry units would give me an idea on the effectiveness of females in the military I would think.

Better re-read the story. He claimed it wasn't his medals. I don't think anyone called him a coward for doing that. He was called other things and was denounced for the medal incident.

What are your ideas about the effectiveness of females in the military? What is it they can't do as well as men?

In certain fields they are the equivalent of their male counterparts but in the Infantry they can't handle the weight of their field packs or the NZ Army term kit which can weigh as much as 100 kg or more.
