No way Gin, Xanthos is 100% right here. This is almost a non-subject because of how wrong you are. I'm in high school (And thus far superior to you) and have teachers like you. They blow. I don't even bother listening, because it won't help me any. I just go home, do my busy work, and talk about how bad that teacher is behind their back - and they're always so wonderfully oblvious. Then I have teacher's that show me the MEANING behind what we learn - why we learn it. Why do we learn history? My excellent history teacher explained this to us. I won't use 90% of what I learn in history, but it's the knowledge that is gained, and the ability to be able to talk about historical events that matters, to become more "cultured" so to speak. I may not "use" it, but there is some value behind it. So go ahead Gin, have no opinion, but your students will hate you, and they won't learn the importance of whatever class you teach.
