The reality is that impeachment happens when the majority of the congress and house of representatives decide they no longer want the president. The current problem is not that many republicans think he is a good president but they think they can successful manipulate him to achieve their goals as well as pass many laws that would normally not pass while everyone is focusing on Trumps twitter account. Trump himself only tweeted that to get everyone to stop discussing Russia - and it worked.
Legal experts: Can you please tell me if there are any legal consequences if a sitting President accuses a former President of wiretapping Trump Tower, while offering no proof of this, or can President Trump simply keep on doing this without legal consequence.

The democrats don't want Trump impeached because that will only make Pence the president. The democrats want Trump to keep right on doing what he is doing until the republicans are completely and utterly destroyed with no hope of return. This presidency will be a career ender for a large number of republican politicians.

Sorry, we only care about Trump violating the laws.
My bad. 😞
