Not in of itself. It all depends on why.
If there is a system in place keeping one person from economic equality with others, then it wouldn't be fair and needs to be changed.
Should the person with more be expected to give to those with less? Not necessarily, or as long as those with more didn't achieve more through unethical means.

I did an experiment.
First I went out as a straight white man who needed a job.
No offers.
Second... I put on a dress and applied a crappy make up job and went out applying for jobs.
I was offered a job as a Judge!
....Mayor.
....Doctor.
....Pharmacist.
....Politician.
The list goes on!
