Okay, perhaps K. Couric was a bit harsh, even hostile towards Sarah Palin. Was this because of left wing bias?
The job of reporters is to investigate and report. Palin was a piece of work--completely unprepared for the job she was seeking. Couric understood that, pressed her with well designed questions--and her signature disarming style--and revealed Palin for who she is.
If this "hostile" interview helped stave off eight more years of disaster, then the free press is doing its job for a change.

I agree, the bias is really rather pathetic. It would be nice to see a news media that wasn't biased one way or the other. Or at least a news media that attempted to be unbiased.
But I suppose those days are over. The news media is nothing more than a propaganda wing of one of the two politcal parties.

The notion that harsh inquiry and hostile reporting of Palin is unfair bias is nonsense. If the press were as left-wing as ya'll say, if they had been doing their job, there would have been no second Bush administration. It's good that Couric did her job in the election of 2008.
Love fest for Obama, so be it. Today is a great day in American history!!
