Reading in 2 Kings, I saw this passage: you can go wrong in either direction, right or left.

“...and he did not turn aside to the right or to the left.”

One of the main reasons the left and right find it so easy to accuse the other side of faults is that both sides have them. If you are not honestly looking at the side you lean toward, too, you are just part of the problem.

The party in power has the obligation to fix what they are doing wrong right now, while they are in office.

This is not the same conversation as "can the other side get elected?"
