It's only in recent history that the US government has done an about face and decided to not only stop denying
UFO incidents, but to actually admit them and promote them. Some of us in the UFO community think this will culminate
with some kind of full disclosure. Then we will know some of what they have known all along.

Light, reflection, shadows, meteorites, dust showers, hallucinations, etc. are all far more likely explanations.
The fact that humans tend to see things in nothing (like Jesus’ face on a pancake or my facebook post of the evil looking cheese) explains why UFO sightings have changed over the centuries. In the 1800’s they were reported as looking like giant zeppelins with lights flashing. In the 40’s and 50’s there were classic flying saucer sightings and now it’s lights, stripes and what-not.
Or... like a friend once said to me (about aliens making crop circles) : “Maybe they’re teenage aliens and they just come to dumb-arse planets to prank us.”
