When the War on Terror was announced commentators stated this war was going to be fought on several battlefields. One of them would be the media; newspapers and above all television: The Propaganda War.
What have we seen so far from this Propaganda War ?
Was the Abu Graib scandal an issue ?
Is the current story of the marine killing a wounded (unarmed?) insurgent a part of the propaganda war ?
If these events cannot be looked upon as issues in this media war, then what events or developments do you consider being part of this propaganda war ?
Edit: I'm talking about contributions to this war from both sides of course.

The phrase "war on terror" in itself is very misleading and propaganda like. How exactly do you declare war against a word/action? When does such a war end? How the heck is victory acheived or determined? That would be like me saying, "let's declare war on jumping or dancing", yes, I know this sounds stupid, but I used this exagerated example to illustrate how stupid you Americans sound to the rest of the world when you talk about a "war on terror". Now, if you said something like "war on *whatever specific country*", that would make a lot more sense, but the phrase itself, "war on terror", is just not proper english.
