Maybe you shouldn't end statements with question marks.
I wasn't telling the poor fellow to use English. I asked if it wouldn't be a good idea.

Maybe you should use English?
Either you were making a statement; the correct form of your sentence in statement form would be Maybe you should use English.
Or, you were asking a question; the correct form of your sentence in question form would be (I have to guess at your intent) Do you think you should use correct English in your posts?
Oh, I see you clarified. Well the question would be Would it be a good idea for you to use correct English in your posts?

A declarative would preclude the "maybe" qualifier.
Had I CHOSEN to use a declarative, it would have been as follows: "You should use English." I did not. I CHOSE to use the interogative and used the qualifier "maybe" just as good grammar dictates.
Do you see the difference?
<edit> Let me guess. You are an English teacher. That would explain a lot of unanwerable questions.

Your problem is not that you're un-educated, but rather it's a personality defect that causes you to be like this . To put it simply:
You have to be the MASTER CYLINDER or you will get nasty.
