Do you know if its out on DVD? I read the synopsis and I hope he sues the hell of Winston Salem. It was a legal lynching.
Unfortunately, the movie is not on DVD yet, and I don't know when it will be.
I finally saw The Trials Of Darryl Hunt last week, and I thought it was a really great documentary. When you put the whole thing into perspective, directors Ricki Stern and Annie Sundberg did a great job of editing down 12 years worth of footage and material. I found a Sundance special where these 2 filmmakers talk about their experience making the film and the drama of the trial. You can find the clip here:
