HAMAS Won.

And the funny thing is, a wise man told me that they will do on the very
same day Yassir Arafat was declared dead.

He said: "Son, count the days to liberation from this moment."

I asked what he meant, and he replied: "Arafat and his PLO are nothing
but a tangled mix of old rotted roots and chunks of corrupted earth that
blocked the stream of justice from running peacefully through the Holly
Lands. Now the filthy damn is broken, the water, with a bit of struggle, will
once more run again…"

I was speechless, so he kindly carried on: "Justice will claim its long lost
path. And this path, am afraid, will first flood with innocent blood. But with
God's Will, it shall be cleared once and for all by the Secret Islamic
Militant Movement." (what HAMAS is the abbreviation of)

"Count the days, son. Count the days. Fatah was nothing but a waste of
time, blood and land."

Have you read the anti-Semitic and fascist Hamas Charter ? .... There you can read what these people are. They are Islamo-fascists. There you can read what they want. They want war.

If you support these anti-Semites and fascists, you are an anti-Semite and a fascist yourself. .... and please don't come with that stupid reply that Arabs are semites too ......

There is certainly hope. Do you actually live in that region ? Do you think that Hamas is the kind of organisation that will listen to the public opinion and act accordingly ?

I live in the UK, but have relatives there.

From the start, Hamas proved itself by listening to its people and fulfilling
their needs. It built schools, hospitals, mosques...

Its work for the community is endless.

Peachy; "From the start, Hamas proved itself by listening to its people and fulfilling

And why is Hamas doing this ? Does Hamas do this simply because of charity, because this is the best thing to do for the Palestinian people or can there be some other reason ? Please read article 21 of the Hamas Charter, in particular the last sentence thereof.

Article Twenty-One

Social solidarity consists of extending help to all the needy, both materially and morally, or assisting in the execution of certain actions. It is incumbent upon the members of the Hamas to look after the interests of the masses the way they would look after their own interests. They must spare no effort in the implementation and maintenance of those interests, and they must avoid playing with anything that might effect the future generations or cause damage to their society. For the masses are of them and for them, their strength is [ultimately] theirs and their future is theirs. The members of Hamas must share with the people its joys and sorrows, and adopt the demands of the people and anything likely to fulfill its interests and theirs. When this spirit reigns, congeniality will deepen, cooperation and compassion will prevail, unity will firm up, and the ranks will be strengthened in the confrontation with the enemy.

Cool .. your relatives and the people there must be estatic. Do you think the people want to take another shot at a peaceful resolution (aint going to be easy) or would they prefer the hostile approach ?

What is going to be unfortunate is if Hamas in its desire to 'celebrate' its victory do another suicide mission, Israel will go on a murderous rampage. Im sure they are waiting for Hamas to make that mistake.

Ivanhoe .. thats not necesarily a violent 'confrontation'. They seem to be hoping to keep the community of one mind rather than divided so that the 'enemy can by confronted , not necessarily by war.

Rajk: " .....'enemy can by confronted, not necessarily by war"

What are the other, non-violent ways, Hamas uses to "confront the enemy" ?

You seem to agree with Hamas that war must be waged by all Muslims against Israel and the West, the unbelievers. Correct ?
