@wildgrass saidSiccing the troops on drug users and low level dealers is a lot more acceptable to right wingers than trying to collect from rich tax cheats.
Those two things are linked, as you know. We can't stop all crime, and don't have unlimited resources.
- traffic cams to enforce running red lights and speeding?
- more IRS to enforce tax laws?
- more drug dogs?
Earl brought up that narcan costs $139 to taxpayers.
drug dogs, more police units, cameras, enforcement, is much much more expensive.
The only one with a good ROI for taxpayers is IRS agents. So of course the fiscally responsible party is against it
@no1marauder saidRiiiiiight. So it's ok to break some laws.

@earl-of-trumps saidYou don’t think it was mott that started that with his really stupid and partisan post about libs being the cause.
*Now* you are making it political and causing debate

@wildgrass saidyour analysis does not count the tax money and other revenues generated by these stadiums, why is that?
Your video obviously does not address this. Rich people who want to buy $1billion stadiums cost way more money to tax payers than these folks.
@wildgrass saidLOL…to stupid to reply to

@mott-the-hoople saidConsider the Milwaukee bucks. They had a stadium but the owner wanted a new shiny one. The taxpayer cost was $250 million to build a new one a few hundred feet away from the other stadium that was working perfectly fine. There's no possible economic voodoo math showing that new stadium would add that kind of return in tax revenue . It's not possible unless you add the element of extortion.

he didn't need it, he wanted it. Tax revenue poured in. And that's just one example out of hundreds. One billionaire bilks/steals/blackmails state taxpayers out of $250 million and we're upset about drug addicts being given free narcan?
I'm not in general favor of govts giving away free stuff. But in fixing the problem let's get the biggest leeches first. The bucks owner is worse for Wisconsin taxpayers that 10,000 drug addicts.
@wildgrass saidbut you dont say a word against giving ukraine 100 billion

@mott-the-hoople saidi do, actually. We overspend on all overseas defense.

Do you have any argument to support distributing hard earned tax dollars to fund vanity projects for billionaires?
