A police officer who does not identify themselves cannot be identified as a police officer. They align more with criminals. Laws are clear, police are tasked with protecting and serving people. The line could not be more stark, and you want to blur police and lump them in with criminals. Gross.

If you are cop arresting these criminals, and you have a wife and 3 young children are home at 123 Maple Street, criminals can identify you with today's technology, and find out where the family is, with today's technology, and do great harm to your life. Could you comment on that likelihood? Please say within the issue, not do a Sue and say ...Well, we should not even arrest the criminals or some such.

I agree it doesn't make sense. If you are a cop arresting criminals wearing masks, why would you want to align yourself with them by also wearing a mask? Makes no sense.

You may as well say that Douglas McArthur , or Eisenhower or Swartzcoff used the US Military as their personal army. Why would it be any different? And to be sure, the PRESIDENT was, and is, the commander in chief. So we are down to def of personal army. Good for eisenhower? Then, same applies for Trump.

And as far as masked cops, perhaps if they didn't break the law to apprehend people, most of which are not violent and are not criminals, then they wouldn't have to hide who they are.

Soldier couldn't take it when one of the citizens he swore to protect threw a sandwich at him. THere's no way it even left a bruise. Don't these guys train by crawling under razor wire in the mud?

If the soldier presses charges, this guy gets 8 years in prison.

Good, maybe it will put a stop to the lawless bs going on in the streets of these liberal cities. I saw punks throwing bricks off an overpass hitting one police officer in the head while others were fleeing for cover, luckily he had a helmet on or he would have had brain damage, or worse dead. They’re lucky they did this in a lawless, defund the police, sanctuary city or they would have had some nice new holes to put things in, but nothing happened to them.

Hundreds of felonies for attacking police officers (some of which resulted in serious injuries) were recently voided by Trump because he thought their cause aligned with his. I didn't hear a peep out of you.

I would normally agree. What you are saying would be true if the sandwich thrower threw the sandwich at an old lady minding her own business walking down the street. But in this case the military took over this man's town for no stated reason other than grandstanding. The sandwich thrower would not have thrown the sandwich at the officer if the military wasn't in the streets. Its an objectively harmless object so charging this person with felony assault would be silly.
