We know Putin is going to insist on gained territory or he and Russia will look weaker than they do not getting farther than they have up to this point along with money and manpower issues. Not to mention if some countries like India quit buying their oil in the near future and seeing Iran as a weakened ally. At the same time they see China wanting resources and territory in parts of Russia that used to be part of China, and getting along with us and ending this might not be a bad idea for them as good faith. Ukraine says no lost territory will be handed over and give back prisoners and children that were taken, along with still being backed to be able to continue on, so it’s hard to tell. I can see a cease fire being signed and maybe being pushed by Russia giving them time to shore up and see the direction of some of the things mentioned above. At this point I see Ukraine possibly being a larger problem on actually ending the war if they don’t give up any territory and choosing to continue on possibly losing the chance and creating a bigger issue for them and the world if Russia feels they have nothing to lose.

My main thought is that given all of the possibilities, as.you well set out, Trump is a guy who follows that legal tenet......Never ask a question unless you know what the answer will be. He has considered every possible answer, every possible retort of Putin, and will be ready for him. In other words, he will leave the room with a 'pre-arranged' plan in his head to take care of Putin one way or another. So, he will know, going IN to the room, that he is going to prevail in the talks.
