"The US Government cannot go bankrupt because we print our own money.'
Biden's economic advisor says that in this video. The interviewer, obviously amazed, said, 'well, if that is the case, why do we borrow money?"
Get his answer. This person, and a dithering president, and Mayorkas who is herding millions of illegals into our country, and the feckless Fauci, are running our country.

@Wajoma saidToo many wordsmiths. The libs use misspelt words for cover when they get in a bind. I am glad I was able to show them thread showing Biden's economic advisor saying we can't go bankrupt, we can just print money,. They will. need cover for that one.
You misspelt 'ruining'.
Too bad Shouse will will raise a Trump issue to muddle it up!! I figure he will employ his "Look at who worked for Trump!!!!!! gambit."
How bout you faeries trying to escape this HORRIBLE video? He should stay in bed, or his basement He is a loser. A loser. Let Us all vote who will replace him on the ticket. Will it be Kamala, Oprah, Michelle, or Hillary????
And oh, this will kill you… All women. You fairy liberals are all about women running our country, maybe I would write AOC in there as well.
@AverageJoe1 - "The US Government cannot go bankrupt because we print our own money."
You have to explain that, AJoe, because the average liberal has no clue why you bother to point this out.
Who do countries “borrow” money from, anyway?
Every country has a national debt, so they’re not borrowing from another country… are they?
Well… let’s see: the US owes Japan 1.1 trillion dollars. That’s quite some pocket money.
However, Japan itself owes a debt which is double the percentage of their GDP than the US does.
And China is a close third.
And a large part of the US government’s debt is owed to itself.
Well, so what is this “debt” actually that all these countries owe?
Simplify it: the US borrows money from itself, say, to build roads, bridges and sewerage plants… the money is actually invested in infrastructure owned and used by the people.
Isn’t that like me borrowing 600$ from my own bank account to buy a TV? And then claiming I owe myself 600$, whilst I sit and watch TV all day long?

Ah. So, it’s not quite that simple, but roughly the same. But not that far off either, yet strangely amiss.
It’s like we all own credit cards and borrow from ourselves and each other to pay for the things that we need.

Not bad choices, but I'd still prefer Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. She'd be a wonderful President. 🙂
@shavixmir saidNow this is a good post. Almost an unanswerable riddle.

Try this. The grocer pays taxes. Mayor Biden takes some ot that tax money, and gives the money to select people in the town, for his own reasons. One reason, I assume, is that they don't have any money?
Follow me here....So, the loser recipients take the money, which came from that grocer, and go to his store and use that money (which came from the grocer 🤔 ) to buy groceries from the grocer.
They used the grocer's money to buy groceries from him.
Yes, I am being a smart azz to point out the folly of your president. But let us have him for 4 more years. Anything to avoid Trump personality or penchant for sitting under a beach umbrella like a useless woman. Oh, wait, it is Biden who does that.
@mchill saidAnother real brain teaser::.

When is a post not a post?
@AverageJoe1 saidHey Maruader, get out in the sunshine and have some fun. How about one of your observations, in a humorous vein, of this really ponderable problem. Will the town go broke, what is the end game?

@AverageJoe1 saidI love this mental exercise. Does no one think it would be interesting to see what is happening here? I am crazy about this analogy,
Hey Maruader, get out in the sunshine and have some fun. How about one of your observations, in a humorous vein, of this really ponderable problem. Will the town go broke, what is the end game?
The govt goes to grocer ‘s cash register, gets 25% of his money. They leave, and take money out front door to town treasurer across street. A loser goes in, gets the free govt money, walks in back door of grocer, buys grocer’s groceries, and walks out that same front door that the govt had used.
To make it more interesting, the grocer had put white paint on the bills, and those same bills came right back to his cash register when the loser paid for the groceries!!!!!
He was out all those groceries,..he lost all those groceries to the loser.
BIDENOMICS all over the place!!!!
@sonhouse saidSeriously, can you blame me? a great analogy, but becuse it shines a light on the Biden practice of giving away money, none of you will respond to it. Do you remember Pelosi saying it is good to give 'them' (brrrr) money, because they will spend it and get the economy going or some such. Then the Chief Economic Advisor to the WH said last week that we can never go bankrupt because we can print money???
@AverageJoe1
You clearly love to talk to yourself. Four in a row THIS time.
Please reread this paragraph..... OK, Thanks. Now add to their blank-brain comments the concept of my analogy about the grocer. You is all one huge lib think-tank. I saw those two news-pieces, plus others, and just had to ask you all, with my analogy, how you can justify taking from Peter to pay Paul.
Should I repost it, maybe it was discarded by everyone by accident. How can it be that each of you elected to not comment on it. Is this what they call a not-talking point?
So can you blame me for begging you liberals to counter my analogy?
Govt takes tax money from grocer.
Govt gives that money to a dependent.
The dependent goes to the grocer and buys groceries with that money.
The grocer sees him going out the door with the groceries, purchased with his money.
His money goes back into the cash register, and he is out of some grocery stock that was taken by the dependent.
The end result, the grocer does end up with the money he'd given the govt in tax, but there is $100 worth of groceries that he Did have, which has disappeared.
@AverageJoe1
So you figure that is all Biden's fault? Food stamps have been in use when repubs and dems have been president. What the HELL do you see wrong with that?
