NO - It's not Joe Biden
Donald Trump will be defeated by a virus crisis he's never dealt with before.
Most Trump supporters will hang with him on all the major issues, but many are abandoning him, due to his inability to lead on this issue. His decision to pass the buck to the State Governors, rather than take the lead will cost him this election.
When defeated, Donald Trump will no doubt shake his fist and scream "voter fraud" but it won't change the outcome. As America races to 200,000+ dead by years end, even many Republicans admit Joe Biden is better qualified to end this carnage, and will change their vote accordingly.
Sorry Trump supporters: Your golden boy is going down, and he'll take a lot of GOP lawmakers down with him. ๐
@philokalia saidTrump support isn't based on intellectualism.
There's way too many variables concerning the virus -- everyone can speculate all day about what has caused it.
There's too much intellectual room.
The left will blame Trump, and the right will excuse him.
@philokalia said2/3 of the public disapprove of Trump's handling of both COVID-19 and "race relations". https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/broad-disapproval-trumps-handling-coronavirus-race-relations-poll/story?id=71704889

I thought Trump was going to lose before the blow up of either/both. But it is quite possible that his continued inept and unpopular response to both will result in not the somewhat narrow loss I was foreseeing, but an electoral blowout, maybe even 1932 style.
@shavixmir saidGerrymandering does not really affect presidential elections. Voter suppression by Republicans remains the concern.
trump will win the 2020 election.
Gerrymandering, voter suppression and stupidity will save his skanky arse.
This is why Republicans are toxic to democracy. They are afraid of the voters. Always are.
@soothfast saidtrumpistan is going to continue.

It’s comedy gold. We get at least 4 more years to milk this bastard for all he’s worth!
Person, woman, man, camera, TV.
Genius!
@shavixmir saidYou just may be correct on that. May God Bless America and the rest of the world if he makes it back in.

@shavixmir saidUltimately it will depend on the Electoral College. Trump got lucky last time; it was a fluke, the EC did not vote the way the general public did (Clinton polled more votes). Trump has not won over anyone who did not vote for him last time, he has alienated some who did, and it is unlikely that lightning will strike twice for him in the EC.

However, if the EC were to return him to the Oval Office contrary to a second popular vote in 2020, there would be loud calls to either disband the EC system altogether and implement direct voting, or to legally compel the EC to vote as the general public votes. Not even a Rep.-controlled Senate (assuming they hold the Senate) could forestall that.
