" leftists, not liberals"

one and the same
Not true at all. Liberals favor free markets. The left are economic interventionists and free speech moderators.

Here's Dennis Prager to explain: https://www.dailysignal.com/2017/09/12/leftism-not-liberalism-differences/

So, yes, as you say, this is indeed our last gasp. You will have to wait and see what I am talking about.
Sonhouse will be horrified to see the country that's left for his grandkids but it will be too late.
It's too late now for that matter.

Well, the leftists, et al, who will take over, will make it so that everyone is exactly equal (except for the leftists in charge, of course), and in my opinion , Sonhouse and many other posters here......they want it that way. IF they cant have success, happiness and fulfillment, then we can't either!!

From anarchy within, whatever. From Marxism. Do you know BLM is Marxist? Yet none of you turkeys ever denounce BLM. And Socialism. And teaching our children that everyone gets a trophy. And that boys can race girls. And that the successful should be punished, and not rewarded for their success. And from a president who has developed dementia, which is no laughing ...[text shortened]... ng something out?
We need saving. Actually, I dont myself, but my grandchildren are in for it!
You're very afraid, aren't you ?
Actually,. I'll rephrase that.
You're very frightened, aren't, you ?

There is a distinction to be made between being afraid and being frightened.
Being afraid is when someone points a gun at you and demands your wallet.
Being frightened is when a 5 year old won't look under his bed at night.

You're very frightened, aren't you ?? 😛

I hate it, but I have to agree with Mott. The most telling is trying to punish successful people. Just yesterday Eliz Warren told Jeff Bezos to 'watch out'', she wants to tax hell out of him. Dam, just when I was so much enjoying door delivery of my new golf clubs!!!!
Joe, you inspire me. 😉

First, we're lucky E. Warren did not become President. She just looks like a scolder who actually does want to control everybody.

Another thing is one of her projects is going after "predatory lenders" (e.g., payday loans and personal loans with high interest rates). Dozens of times in my life, payday loans helped me get through the month and stay current paying my bills. I was aware of the terms, and the deal was fine with me. Thank goodness that option was available. I'm happy to side with the anti-nanny-staters on this issue.

As for Bezos: he and Amazon should pay their fair share of taxes according to the current U.S. tax code -- but if their tax filings are done by the book and according to the tax code, why should they be demonized?

If there are loopholes in the code that seem to give some people or corporations an unfair advantage, fix the tax code through normal legislative processes if possible. If not possible, then tough! Live with it.

As for the golf clubs: I'm not even a golfer, but isn't a set of clubs something you should try out in person before purchasing, to check the feel of them (similar to buying a guitar)? And preferably at a local pro shop or sporting goods store, to help your local economy. 😉

this is it in a nutshell.. it is displayed daily right here.

“ “insecure, unhappy people who don’t have meaning in their life,” which is why they are “trying to destroy everything that’s successful.””

No one wants to "punish" successful people. We only want them to pay their fair share. You people always call it "punishing" them.

All of that. Scared of you folks, too. Hey, you never did tell me how you explain to your daughter why a man raced against her and won. This is an example of the weakness of libs, you simply cannot state the obvious when it goes against your constant regurgitation of your many narratives and street parades.

They will fly anything in an attempt to save their country, to not lose their country. Is your Kamala going to be good for the country? She is soon to be in the Oval.
Following Trump isn't going to save anyone but Trump.

But he knows this.

Golly, you have educated me. I think I will read you instead of FORBES!!!!! Jesus. You kids really don't know anything, with all due respects. You just don't know how it works. The punishment of the rich IS to tax them more. That is punishment. You need not bother to read this, but it is a good enough response for me to know that I sent it to the Thread. you.https://www.forbes.com/sites/richardfinger/2012/09/04/the-end-of-society-as-we-know-it/?sh=768877b949ef

You cannot get products out of a company that the government forces to shut down, either. Y'all give that successful guy hell. Kick him by the side of the road and hand the running of it over to Bernie. What a crowd you have aligned yourself with.
I would far rather have a politician running the country who cares about people, like Joe Biden, than a self-absorbed only-in-it-for-what-he-can-grift-from-the-public-trough multi-millionaire narcissist. Businessmen do not belong in politics. They are supposed to be working for the people, not themselves. The truth is that businessmen don't give a good god damn for the people. The only thing Trump is successful at is convincing stupid people to give him money. This makes him a con man, promising something for nothing.

What a crowd you have aligned yourself with.

The rich and their crocodile tears.

Not for the people, mind you, but only for themselves.

Bezos got away with paying NO tax last year. In fact, because of Trump, he probably got paid by the rest of us.
