Because I said something publicly in the forums to you I thought it best to explain publicly as I wanted to be absolutely sure no will construe that I was making fun of you or being cruel. Several weeks ago I asked you some questions about your dyslexia and suggested that there might be some savant components of it that you might not be aware of as I heard of a woman who was severely dyslexic who could hear the radio when it was turned off. Now that sounds crazy and some might think I was making it all up at your expense. So I thought it best to footnote my source and people can check out my sincerity/data. The book is Animals in Translation by Temple Grandin. Published by Scribner, 2005, pp. 62-63. Thanks

Perhaps the first time you made this comment , you could have questioned RB in private.
Curious, are you apologising to RBHill for possibly making hurtfull statements, or simply trying to justify those comments as based on fact and not malice ?
I too am dyslexic, but I try very hard to write and spell correctly. It is certainly an effort. I often have to look up words and must constantly be on the lookout for poor grammar. My dyslexia manifests if's self more in my writing than in my reading, but I do have to work at reading as well. I come from a family of six kids and three of them have dyslexia. None, however, have a savant nature and certainly none are idiots. I have never heard of one with dyslexia having powers in other areas, perhaps we can create a dyslexic super hero.
DYSLEXICS OF THE WORLD UNTIE!

... Which station was she tuned into ? ... and how did she change station ? .... How did she know it was the radio she was hearing and not some hallucination ? ... How did they check things to be able to confirm her claims ?
