Is it time for us men to step up to the mark and start shaving our legs? Cultivation of stray curly hairs is probably well overdue too.

I know a lot of you guys and certainly gals out there have VERY strong feelings on this. Well, here's the forum. Step forth and cast your wisker...

Shave your legs??
Unless you are a cyclist I see no reason to do this.

Why should we?

They help keep my legs warm when cycling into work on a cold morning.

Interesting. One of you suggests that hair is good for cycling, and the other bad for cycling, but you are both opposed to the big shave. First points to the shavists, I say!

Cyclists (and swimmers I've been told) shave their legs to reduce air (water) resistance. People cycling (swimming) to work don't care about the air (water) resistance so much as the warmth (wetness).

I'm not shaving my legs. Why should I?

I'd rather shave a lady's legs.

I have enough trouble finding the time/inclination to shave my face, let alone my legs....

....what next? Shaving your Happy Trail?

Men are supposed to be hairy, women are supposed to be smooth.
This is what convention dictates. If all women en masse decided that men with hairy legs were unattractive, I might change my mind but I don't think that's likely to happen.

Yes, let's keep 'Shaves it' out of this... we already know what he's been shaving. (If you don't know, please just PM him about it!)

Now, I must ask...

Why Do Shaving Threads Always Pop Up!? Gah!? I asked pradtf when he was working in the 'Mach3' thread... and he said....

Shaving threads are very 'cutting edge'.

Groan.

As I cycle and run alot (everyday) its comfier to shave from the knees to the waist, as hair tends to create friction and very sore skin over time:'( ....... and once you have gone that far you have to shave the rest of your legs otherwise it looks like your wearing leg warmers 😀

Note: hair removal cream far easier and safer😲 than a razor.
