You're about 50-60 years late little joe boy. πŸ˜†

"The first successful flyby of Mars was by NASA's Mariner 4 on July 14, 1965. However, the first probe to successfully land on Mars was NASA's Viking 1 lander, which touched down on July 20, 1976.
First Flyby: Mariner 4 was the first spacecraft to perform a successful flyby of Mars, capturing the first close-up images of the planet on July 14, 1965.
First Landing: The Viking 1 lander was the first to successfully land on the Martian surface, arriving on July 20, 1976. It sent back the first close-up photos from the surface of Mars.
First Orbiter: The first probe to orbit Mars was Mariner 9, which entered orbit on November 14, 1971" [goggle AI].

"Meet Perseverance, NASA's Newest Mars Rover – Teachable ...The United States has sent numerous probes to Mars, beginning with the Viking 1 and 2 landers in 1976, which were the first to successfully land on the planet. Recent US missions include the Curiosity and Perseverance rovers, which are currently active, as well as the new ESCAPADE mission, which launched in November 2025 and consists of two probes to study Mars' atmosphere.
Notable US Mars probes
Viking 1 and 2: The first US spacecraft to land on Mars in 1976, each consisting of an orbiter and a lander.
Pathfinder: Successfully landed on Mars in 1997.
Spirit and Opportunity: Twin rovers that landed in 2004 and operated for many years, exploring the planet's surface.
Phoenix: A lander that touched down in 2008 to study the Martian arctic region.
Curiosity: A car-sized rover launched in 2011 that landed in 2012 and is still operational today.
Perseverance: A rover launched in 2020 that landed in 2021, which carries instruments for future sample return missions. It also deployed the Ingenuity helicopter, which completed its mission in 2024.
ESCAPADE: A new mission launched in November 2025 consisting of two probes to study the interaction between the Sun and Mars' atmosphere, with a planned arrival in 2027" [goggle AI].

But whom? Netherlands? Romania? Canada? Uganda? Jamaica? India?

AI Overview
"The countries and organizations that have successfully sent probes to Mars are the United States, the Soviet Union, the European Space Agency (ESA), China, India, and the United Arab Emirates. While the U.S. and China are the only two countries to have landed and operated a rover on the planet, others have successfully placed spacecraft in Martian orbit.
United States: Successfully launched multiple orbiters, landers, and rovers, including the first successful landers with the Viking missions and the first rover with Sojourner.
Soviet Union: Achieved the first successful landing on Mars with the Mars 3 probe in 1971, though it failed shortly after touchdown.
European Space Agency (ESA): Successfully sent spacecraft to orbit Mars, such as the ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter.
India: Became the first Asian country to reach Mars orbit with its Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) and the first nation to do so on its first attempt.
United Arab Emirates (UAE): Launched the Hope mission, which successfully entered Mars orbit in 2021.
China: Achieved a comprehensive mission with Tianwen-1, which orbited, landed, and deployed the Zhurong rover on the surface"[goggle AI].

Congrats.

Being so full of pride, I'm assuming you played an active role in the success?

(Rhetorical question alert).

He practically singele-handed applauded.

Sarcasm aside: What the little guy meant was: The second succesful start and the first succesul laanding of the start stage of the New Glenn rocket.
So congratulations to Blue origin for the engineering feat.

Yes NASA's Probe ESCAPADE consisting of two modules "blue" and "gold" are n their way and will probably yield interesting data, sadly enough the litle guy will hardly understand the adat or their value.

Yes, he designed the screen doors on the probe. You know, to keep out them ornery Martian Miskitos !

Liberal people unhappy people like Kingdark are unhappy....thus their demeaning posts. Write him about the good of Mother Theresa, and see what his take would be on that.

I am a proud American. I think I will go out and smell the freedom. Get CHATgp to compare us.
Have you already thought of your government today? gotten your comfort blanket? I bet you have.

PS: This space adventure? An individual citizen is behind it,,,,,you'd likely be government dependent to pull that off. All you fellers, just step aside, like when we ran, and completed, everything with the Bomb. You are welcome.
Let's comare inventions. something you will use today was invented here. We do use netherland-invented skis in Colorado, though. All fun. What a fun country.

So read your original post again.

* "Pardon my pride" There is not the slightest inking that you think that there is anything wrong with your pride.

Asking for pardon is done like this: " I did post a demenaning post. That was wrong and I feel the negaitev effect of it. I will do differently from now on."
People apologizing for something were they see no fault are not aksing for forgiveness at all, but are using the "apology" as a weapn. That is evil behaviour.

"No link would do it justice" why? Becuase staring the probe is so epochal? @sonhouse put a time-line that does it justice. One link would have been https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exploration_of_Mars
another: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ESCAPADE

Next sentence consist of a space. Very clever semiotic move.
"The booster that took it up there came back and landed squarely on the deck."
here we have a hint about what the post is. And I did refer to that in my post, that was not negative at all. Oh about the link thingie: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Glenn

"at your heart out, rest of the world.." This is what? It is just to show your superiority by proxy, or is ther anything different?

"Turn up the sound!!!" Same here.

I am a proud American. - We already know.
I think I will go out and smell the freedom. - Enjoy
Get CHATgp to compare us. - Chat GPT didn't know you πŸ™ Give me your ORCID and I piost mine and we let people who know how to read that compare.
Have you already thought of your government today? - Yes I did and I am not content with Friedrich Merz.
gotten your comfort blanket? - I should have, but didn't.
I bet you have. You lost that bet.

This post also breathes self-aggrandization. So I repeat GoAd's question: What exactly was your contribution?
